Hello WOZeans!

There has been a slight change to Sundays rehearsal schedule. 

Please note the following changes:

*Ghosts and Jitterbugs will not be needed until 2:00 pm.

*Dorothy, Scarecrow, Lion and Tinman will need to come at 1:00 pm and be prepared  to work on If I Only Had the Nerve and King of the Forest.

As originally posted full casts will be needed from 3:30-6:00 pm.

You're all doing amazing things! Thank you for your hard work on memorizing your parts and going over your choreography at home.
It makes a big difference!

Greetings to all!
Just a reminder of who is called for this Friday (2/23)’s rehearsal.  Also please note - that the parking lot will probably be full at the end of rehearsal 8pm due to CenterStage’s production of Be More Chill occurring on Friday night.  We will end right at 8pm and walk our cast members up to the door so that you can pick them up right outside. 

5pm to 8pm:  Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tinman, Lion, Witch, Winkies, Winkie General, Guard, Oz

Winkies include:  Andrew Fisher, Ayla Danabasoglu, Zasha Greening, Abbi Sprod, Maggie Wilkerson, Ashley Beall, Cayey Meyer, Emily Fernandez, Tyler Hansen, Amanda Dombek, Anna Tronco, Brian Vansen, Kaily Hansen, Lily Weisbart, Caroline Armstrong and Kate Ehrnstrom  (This was on the Cast list that included everyone’s characters).

There was a little bit of changing around after the casts were divided so I am attaching the current cast list here.

Greetings on the snowy morning!
Just a reminder rehearsal today 430-630 is for the Ruby Cast these characters:  Dorothy, All munchkins, Witch and Glinda.
Rehearsal tomorrow (Tuesday, Feb 20) is for Emerald Cast these characters:  Dorothy, All munchkins, Witch and Glinda.
This is the same as the group called 2 weeks ago.

We will finish up the Munchkinland extravaganza! 
Since CenterStage’s other production (Be More Chill) is in tech this week, we will be in the Art room (across from the dance studio).

Dear WoZ parents and Cast,
Hope you had a lovely Valentine’s Day!
A  contact list was sent via email so that you will have other parents’ emails for either carpooling or “opposite” coverage. 

A reminder that tomorrow 2/16 (Friday) night’s rehearsal is for Dorothy,  Scarecrow, Tinman, All Apple Trees and All Crows.

Sunday’s rehearsal has been fine tuned slightly so that some actors don’t need to stay through all of the “All” section. 
2/18:  2p - 330 Poppies. Optimistic Voices, Snow, Glinda, Witch
330-430  ALL OZIANS  (this includes most of the cast), Dorothy, Lion, Scarecrow, Tinman, Guard
430-6p  ALL Jitterbugs, Ghosts, Dorothy, Lion, Scarecrow, Tinman, Guard 

The change is that actors who are NOT in the Jitterbug number will be able to leave at 430pm.

Hello everyone!
Just a reminder that Monday's rehearsal is for ALL Ruby Cast members and Tuesday's rehearsal is for ALL Emerald Cast members.  We will be starting to string scenes in Act 1 together.  This will help to build continuity for the show and its dramatic action.  Thanks for all the hard work and support so far!

Greetings WoZ parents,
We have gotten a lot done already.  Lots of good work to build from.
Monday’s rehearsal (430-630) is only for Ruby cast members who are Munchkins (any kind), Glinda, Dorothy and the Witch
Tuesday’s rehearsal (430-630) is only for Emerald cast members who are Munchkins (any kind), Glinda, Dorothy and the Witch.

Actors will only be attending either Monday’s or Tuesday’s rehearsal and some parts aren’t called at all.  We will be starting the Munchkinland sequence and only want to work with one cast at a time.

Get to know your actor’s “Opposite”.  We talked a little at rehearsal that each cast member has an exact opposite in the other cast who has the same role and generally should have the same blocking.  These are built in “understudys” in case your actor is sick or has a conflict.  As we begin to work at some rehearsals with only one cast - if you know your actor will be unavailable for that rehearsal we ask that you reach out to your child’s opposite and see if they can fill in.  We realize they may not always be free to fill in, but when it works this really is a big help because then we have a complete cast to rehearse with.  I will start sending out emails to each actor’s parent and the parent of the “opposite” so that you’ll have contact info.    As always if you know your actor will unexpectedly not be at rehearsal please email or text me (jeanie_balch@comcast.net 720-320-6692) and try to reach out to the “opposite.”.
